Cambodia Part 1 Boot Camp/Training/Team Time/Travel                                      May/June 2015

Hello from Siem Reap, Cambodia! Things are going well for me. God is working in my life and teaching me new things. My team left a few days ago and it was a sad goodbye. I was so blessed to get to know all of them and now im starting my own journey as they go home and try to make changes as well. I have been adjusting nicely thanks to the kind students here at the base, my awesome hosts, the Wylies, and Amy the amazing intern from the FL school here who has answered my millions of question with grace. I am now getting into a temporary schedule for the next 2 weeks or so before we go back down south for Cambodian Boot Camp near Kom Pong Chnang. My day starts at 6:30 with breakfast. Something like rice with eggs, then devotions at 7. Group devotions at 7:30 then Khmer language lessons, then I teach a few students some English throughout the day. A little office work and whatever else! Today we went and played volleyball with the neighbors to build relationships in the community. The culture is very soft spoken and kind, busy but very go with the flow. Almost everything is less expensive. Loafs of fresh bread for 75 cents, 2 pounds of fruit because they sell it in kilos for 60 or so cents. Everything is very fresh. Lots of rice, noodles, chicken, pork, veggies and fruit. Soon I will be headed south to help with boot camp and hope to share more! I'm so grateful for everyone's support thanks for working for me while I'm away! Please continue to pray for my adjustment and feel free to ask any questions! God bless!
